Wollastonite is a typical metamorphic mineral, mainly produced in the contact zone between acid rock and limestone, and also found in deep metamorphic calcareous crystalline schist, volcanic exudates and some alkaline rocks. Its chemical molecular formula is CaSiO 3 , structural formula Ca3 [Si3O9 ], theoretical chemical composition: CaO 48.25%, SiO251.75%.
Wollastonite belongs to a chain metasilicate, which is a triclinic system, thin plate-like crystals, and aggregates that are radial or fibrous. Because of its special crystal morphology and crystal structure, its properties are determined, and it is non-toxic. , acid and alkali resistance, low hygroscopicity, low oil absorption, low electrical conductivity, good insulation, good thermal stability and dimensional stability, excellent mechanical properties and electrical properties, etc. It is a natural green, low-carbon and energy-saving industrial mineral raw material.
